Before the appointment of Dayapatra, the position of COO remained vacant for six months since the co-founder Parthasarathy NS had resigned in July 2019, a few days after Larsen & Toubro Group acquired the company. Mindtree’s co-founders Rostow Ravanan, Krishnakumar Natarajan and NS Parthasarathy had resigned from their position as board of directors and also employees of the IT services firm in July last year.
In this new role, Dayapatra as the COO is expected to lead the company into its next phase of growth. His operations will be based out of Bangalore, India. Prior to joining Mindtree, Dayapatra was working with Accenture as the MD & Director of Delivery for Advanced Technology Centers in India.
