Real estate developer Omaxe Limited announced it will dedicate a stand at its forthcoming cricket stadium in Dwarka to Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team.

The section, situated in the North Pavilion Lower Bowl of the 30,000-capacity venue, will feature more than 1,500 seats and act as India's inaugural dedicated "Pink Stand" — an area created for women and families.

The declaration occurred during a press conference held at The Omaxe State project location in Dwarka Sector 19B, with Kaur, Omaxe MD Mohit Goel, and design firm Bentel Associates International representatives present.

The Pink Stand idea was created in collaboration with Kaur, whom Omaxe appointed as brand ambassador prior to India’s triumph in the ICC Women’s World Cup in 2025. The company announced that this makes Kaur the first female cricketer in India to have two stands at stadiums named in her honor.

Omaxe has additionally revealed that Bentel Associates International, a company with more than sixty years of worldwide expertise, has been selected as the architectural and interior consultant for the commercial, hotel, and club sections of The Omaxe State.

The company plans to create India’s inaugural fully air-conditioned retail high-street, the five-star Gateway Hotel by IHCL, along with a sports club that operates on a membership basis.

In addition to cricket, the facility is meant to accommodate basketball, badminton, esports, and global concerts. The initiative features a hotel with 158 keys, 40 suites offering stadium views, and retail space covering 48,000 sq.mt.

Omaxe's shares ended at Rs.71.05 on NSE on Wednesday, rising by 1.28 percent for the day, despite the firm having reported losses for eight straight quarters.

Omaxe Chowk has introduced unique co-retail spaces in its commercial project that includes multi-level parking in Chandni Chowk. The project will soon undergo fit-out.

Co-retailing offers companies operational and economic advantages by lowering expenses or creating extra income. Omaxe Chowk provides two co-retailing options: shared commercial areas and temporary leasing agreements.

The common ground between two interconnected product categories (shoes, bags, clothing, fragrance, etc.) and lease agreements lasting 1-6 months has attracted substantial attention from retailers worldwide. The project is expected to have around. A space of 8000-10,000 sq. ft. allocated for co-retailing.

The commercial prospects of running a co-retailing space in Omaxe Chowk can be evaluated by noting that it is among the largest structured business developments featuring a multilevel parking area in Chandni Chowk, Delhi’s oldest market.
