Panasonic Elevates Narayan Kumar as CBO of Newly Formed PIDEIN
Narayan Kumar has been named chief business officer (CBO) to oversee the newly formed division. Kumar, who previously served as Divisional Director for INDD, possesses significant expertise in business-to-business operations and will work under Tadashi Chiba, MD and CEO of PLSIND.
Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND) has combined its Industrial Devices (INDD) and Energy Solutions (ESD) business units to form Panasonic Industry & Energy India (PIDEIN). This restructuring is designed to increase operational flexibility, improve service delivery to customers, and support the organization's strategic objectives for the Indian market.

The Industrial Devices Division (INDD) concentrated on electronic and electromechanical parts including passive components, sensors, relays, brushless DC motors, and automation equipment like programmable logic controllers and human-machine interfaces.
The Energy Solutions Division (ESD) focused on lithium-ion battery technology, sustainable energy storage solutions, and power management systems for electric vehicles, residential applications, and commercial sectors.
