Perma-Pipe Appoints Nancy Zakhour and Saleh Sagr to Board

Perma-Pipe International Holdings, Inc, a worldwide leader in pre-insulated piping and leak detection solutions, today declared the addition of Nancy Zakhour and Saleh Sagr to its Board of Directors, effective April 8, 2026.
Zakhour will act as an independent director and will be part of the Board’s Audit, Compensation, and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees. Mr. Sagr will act as a director.
Zakhour is an energetic executive in the energy sector, possessing expertise in renewable energy, oil and gas, and investment banking, offering a distinct and comprehensive viewpoint on the changing global energy environment. She is presently the Chief Commercial Officer at Clean Energy Services, overseeing corporate strategy and commercial implementation in battery storage and solar projects. Moreover, she serves as a Venture Partner at Ascent Energy Ventures and teaches MBA courses at Rice University.
Before her present positions, Ms. Zakhour worked as an Investment Banker in the Energy & Power division at Piper Sandler, guiding clients on intricate financial and strategic deals. Previously, she occupied leadership positions at Oxy Low Carbon Ventures (1PointFive), where she promoted the commercial implementation of Direct Air Capture (DAC) and Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) initiatives throughout the United States. She additionally held the position of Well Design Lead for Occidental Petroleum’s Permian Delaware division, overseeing multidisciplinary teams tasked with drilling, completion, and production engineering over an expanse exceeding one million acres.
Zakhour started her career at Schlumberger, acquiring considerable technical and global field expertise throughout North America, Asia, North Africa, and Russia. She subsequently occupied engineering and advisory positions at Callon Petroleum, enhancing her operational and strategic skills.

She possesses a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut and an MBA from Rice University. She has received the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Regional Completions Optimization and Technology Award as well as Hart Energy’s 40 Under Forty Award and has written multiple technical publications.
