Piyush Anchliya Named the New CFO of Cashfree

Cashfree Payments, Bengaluru-based online payment processor has appointed Piyush Anchliya as its new CFO. Piyush is expected to lead the financial strategy for the payments firm, optimizing operations and supporting the company’s next phase of growth.

The company stated that, “Piyush will replace Vikas Guru, the incumbent CFO who foresaw the finance function at Cashfree for almost four years and will be reporting to Akash Sinha, the Cashfree cofounder.”

“As we enter the next phase of growth, Piyush’s valuable experience across the financial services industry will be key to scaling sustainably and strengthening our financial foundation” stated Sinha.

Piyush in his previous role has served as the CFO at Bandhan Asset Management Company (previously IDFC AMC). He has over 15 years of experience in the financial services world, having worked at Barclays Investment Bank in New York and Lehman Brothers in London.

It bagged RBI license to operate as a payment aggregator (PA)-Online, PA-cross border and issue mobile wallets or prepaid payment instruments.Its innovative solutions aim to simplify transactions for businesses of all sizes.
