Reddit Names Sachin Tendulkar as its Brand Ambassador
Social media platform Reddit revealed that Indian cricket great Sachin Tendulkar will serve as its brand ambassador. Sports enthusiasts will now have unique chances to interact with Tendulkar within Reddit communities. Via his official Reddit account, the batting legend will offer personal thoughts, match analysis, and exclusive material.
In the upcoming months, Tendulkar is also set to feature in a new marketing campaign for Reddit in India as well as in various other global markets.

On his association with Reddit, Tendulkar says, "For me, cricket has always been about that pure connection with people, on and off the field. In getting to know Reddit, what stands out is the sheer passion that brings its communities together.”
Reddit Vice President International Growth, Durgesh Kaushik, says Tendulkar's name is synonymous with cricket excellence, and he possesses a remarkable ability to transcend boundaries and unite people through his extraordinary talent.

Reddit is making efforts to engage with sports, driven by a 30 percent increase in interest in this area on its platform compared to the previous year.

Earlier this year, Reddit revealed a collaboration with Italy's professional football league, Serie A, and last year, it introduced a new partnership initiative with prominent US professional sports leagues such as the NFL, NBA, MLB, PGA Tour, and Nascar.
