Bharat Forge Ltd has announced the appointment of Srinivasu Malladi as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), a strategic move aimed at fortifying the organization's executive leadership as it continues to enhance its presence in international engineering and manufacturing sectors.

The change in leadership positions Srinivasu as the individual responsible for overseeing the company's comprehensive approach to human resources, encompassing initiatives such as workforce evolution, talent cultivation, structural planning, and labor relations across all areas of operation.

Bharat Forge, a member of the Kalyani Group, stands as a prominent entity in India's forging industry, serving as a significant provider to the automotive, defense, aerospace, and industrial domains.

Srinivasu assumes the position of Chief Human Resources Officer following his tenure as Vice President and Head of HR at Bharat Forge. In his previous role, he oversaw the organization's HR department and collaborated closely with top executives to ensure that talent strategy was in sync with company expansion.

Srinivasu is responsible for managing human resources functions for a diverse workforce of over 15,000 employees spanning various business units and geographic areas in his present position, as indicated in his professional biography.

His responsibilities also involve overseeing HR shared services for 10 different legal entities within the Kalyani Group, with the goal of enhancing operational efficiency through a technology-focused employee experience.

 

At present, Indian manufacturing companies are focusing more on enhancing their leadership capacity, implementing digital HR systems, and investing in talent development to facilitate their growth on a global scale. Prior to his tenure at Bharat Forge, he held the role of Senior Director of Human Resources at Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, overseeing HR functions and industrial relations at various manufacturing facilities throughout the country. Previous experience includes holding executive roles at Granules India Limited, GSK Consumer Healthcare India, and Johnson & Johnson, focusing on tasks such as workforce planning, employee relations, and talent development.

Throughout his professional journey, Srinivasu has devoted his efforts to the study of industrial relations and intricate workforce settings, encompassing tasks such as negotiating with labor unions and reaching extended wage agreements within manufacturing facilities.
