Suzlon Bags 170.1 MW Wind Energy Order from AMPIN for Andhra's Kurnool

Suzlon Group has received an order from AMPIN Energy Transition for the third consecutive time, to build a 170.1 MW wind energy project in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
The two businesses are collaborating once more to aid in the decarbonization of India's electrical distribution industry.
Suzlon will provide 54 cutting-edge S144 wind turbine generators, each with a 3.15 MW capacity, as part of the most recent contract.
The Hybrid Lattice Towers (HLT) will support these turbines.
From equipment supply and installation to commissioning and ongoing operations and maintenance, Suzlon will handle every aspect of the project.
With an emphasis on bolstering power distribution firms (DISCOMs), Suzlon and AMPIN are collaborating to support India's low-carbon economy.
Highlighting the critical role of DISCOMs, JP Chalasani, CEO of Suzlon Group, says “India’s decarbonization journey will be won or lost at the distribution level. DISCOMs are the critical link between renewable energy generation and everyday consumption—from industries to households”.
“Together, we’re proving that clean energy isn’t just viable—it’s vital, scalable, and transformative for the power sector”.
After securing a fresh order, Suzlon Energy's share price increased during intraday trade on June 20. Strong growth has also been demonstrated by the stock, which has increased by 27 percent in the last year.
