Swiggy stated that the collaboration enhances the increasing trend of healthier food selections among its five million monthly EatRight customers. The company states that protein-heavy meals make up 60 percent to 70 percent of EatRight lunchtime, snack, and dinner orders, while lighter choices like millet idli, dosa, and low-calorie upma continue to be favored at breakfast.

Speaking on the partnership, Deepak Maloo, Vice President, Food Strategy, Customer Experience & New Initiatives, Swiggy says, “At Swiggy, we believe healthy living starts with everyday choices”.

“Through EatRight, we've made healthy food more accessible. It is encouraging to see great traction and consistent growth across categories such as High Protein, Low Cal and No Added Sugar. With the EatRight Streak Challenge, our focus is on helping users stay consistent with these choices”.
