TATA AutoComp and Skoda Group Form JV to Manufacture Railway Components

TATA AutoComp and Škoda Group have established a joint venture to produce railway propulsion systems and components.

This collaboration is designed to cater to the expanding railway and mobility sectors in India. The joint venture will concentrate on the production of converters, drives, and auxiliary converters intended for medium-high-speed and regional trains, as well as metros and light rail vehicles.

The partnership, which includes a significant investment worth millions of euros, is projected to deliver economic and technological advantages to the region.

TATA AutoComp seeks to broaden its offerings and enhance its capabilities in the Railway & Metro sector.
