TCS, ABB Extend 18 Year Partnership

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and ABB have revealed an extension of their 18-year collaboration to upgrade ABB’s digital framework and create a cohesive digital base for the company’s upcoming growth phase.
Through this multi-year partnership, TCS will deploy ABB’s Future Hosting Model — an advanced, modular IT framework that facilitates predictive operations, quicker service recovery, and ongoing security via TCS’ AI-driven Zero Ops framework.
The project seeks to streamline ABB's worldwide IT infrastructure while improving resilience, flexibility, and creativity.

Drawing on almost twenty years of partnership in ERP, cloud migration, and data center consolidation, the new initiative will speed up ABB’s Core Platform Vision — emphasizing extensive modernization, automation, cloud integration, and data-centric orchestration.

The collaboration will utilize TCS’ managed services platform design to offer ABB flexibility for upcoming integrations, such as mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. A cloud-centric, data-informed governance strategy will help ABB lessen its carbon footprint while enhancing operational efficiency.
