TechnoSport Names Sachin Tandon as Planning & Supply Chain Chief

TechnoSport, India’s fastest-growing activewear brand, today announced the appointment of Sachin Tandon as Chief Planning & Supply Chain Officer.

In this strategic leadership role, Sachin will oversee the company’s end-to-end planning and supply chain functions, strengthening demand planning, inventory optimisation, and operational coordination as TechnoSport enters its next phase of growth.

Sachin brings over two decades of experience across India’s retail, fashion, and e-commerce ecosystems, with deep expertise spanning merchandise planning, supply chain strategy, business operations, and customer experience.

Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership roles at organisations including Landmark Group, Myntra, and Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, where he led large-scale planning and inventory operations and drove operational transformation across complex, multi-channel retail environments.

At TechnoSport, Sachin will focus on building a more integrated planning and supply chain framework to support the brand’s expanding multi-channel footprint. Working closely with teams across manufacturing, merchandising, retail, and digital, he will enhance forecasting accuracy, streamline inventory flows, and strengthen replenishment systems to improve speed-to-market across categories.

Speaking on his appointment, Sachin Tandon, Chief Planning & Supply Chain Officer, TechnoSport says, "TechnoSport has built strong momentum in the activewear category and is rapidly expanding its presence across markets and channels".

His role will also be pivotal as TechnoSport continues to expand its offline presence. The brand currently operates 50 Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) across India, with a broader ambition to scale its retail footprint to around 128 stores by 2027.

Speaking on the appointment, Puspen Maity, CEO, TechnoSport says, “Sachin’s appointment strengthens an important pillar of TechnoSport’s growth journey. As we expand our retail footprint and deepen our channel presence, building a more agile and responsive supply chain becomes essential. His extensive experience in planning and inventory management within the apparel ecosystem will help us enhance execution discipline, improve inventory efficiency, and support the scale of our evolving retail and distribution network”.
