Times Internet Elevates Sriram Hebbar as Group Business Head
	        
Times Internet has promoted Sriram Hebbar to the position of group business head. He previously served as business head for The Economic Times - Languages. Operating from Noida, Hebbar has spent more than two and a half years at Times Internet.
His new position will involve overseeing business strategy, driving revenue expansion, and managing brand development across various divisions within the organization.
During his tenure as business head for The Economic Times – Languages, Hebbar managed the profit and loss responsibilities for ET's digital content in multiple regional languages including Hindi, Marathi, Bangla, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
Bringing more than 20 years of expertise in digital publishing and media management, Hebbar previously held the position of business head at Newspoint, where he oversaw the platform's financial performance and strategic growth initiatives.

Times Internet has revealed the hiring of Johney Maheshwari for the position of Head of Corporate Development, strengthening its dedication to strategic expansion through mergers, acquisitions, and investments.
Within this position, Johney will oversee Times Internet's external growth approach, ensuring M&A and investment activities correspond with the organization's extended business goals.
Johney possesses more than ten years of expertise in corporate development and investment banking, particularly concentrated on the financial services industry.

Before his appointment at Times Internet, he held the position of Associate Director of Corporate Development at Razorpay, contributing significantly to major acquisitions such as Ezetap, BillMe, PoshVine, Curlec (Malaysia), and iZealiant.
He additionally launched Razorpay Ventures, promoting investments in new startups. Previously at Razorpay, he worked with EY's Investment Banking division, providing guidance to prominent entities including SBI, ICICI Lombard, DHFL, and NIIF regarding M&A and capital raising projects.
Times Internet maintains an impressive track record of strategic investments, having allocated more than INR 1000 Cr toward acquisitions and investments throughout the past 10 years. Among its significant portfolio companies are Uber, Airbnb, Delhivery, Swiggy, PocketFM, CarDekho, Ola, and others.
