US President Donald Trump has declared the establishment of a new federal task force named the Super Intelligence Force (SIF) to unify executive branch policies and spearhead national initiatives in advanced artificial intelligence.

The declaration expands on the government's executive order, which substituted the phrases "Artificial Intelligence" and "AI" with "Super Intelligence" and "SI" throughout all executive branch activities.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated, "After the Historic White House Accord on Super Intelligence, where the leading Technology Companies united and affirmed their duties to the American People, I am declaring the establishment of the Super Intelligence Force (SIF)."

The directive, named "Inaugurating the Era of Super Intelligence," stated that the US government will cease to acknowledge or employ Artificial Intelligence or AI as terms in official contexts to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Trump stated that the SIF, under the presidential directive, aims to act as the main government link among civil society, safety advocacy groups, and the private sector. Trump detailed the extensive efforts to "guarantee that America remains at the forefront of Super Intelligence globally."

"The Super Intelligence Force is tasked with coordinating the effort of the Federal Government to ensure that America continues to lead the World in Super Intelligence, which many say is bigger than the Industrial Revolution, and the Internet, and will protect the interests, and improve the lives, of all Americans," he wrote.  Trump specified that the Super Intelligence Force will coordinate government engagement with "Federal Government's engagement with Consumers, Public Interest Groups, Religious Organizations, Critical Infrastructure Providers, and Super Intelligence Companies."

The Super Intelligence Force will be directed by a leadership team of four members, encompassing national intelligence, defense, regulatory, and federal personnel operations. The agency will be led by Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton, Federal Trade Commission Chairman Andrew Ferguson, Chief Technology Officer and Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering Emil Michael, and Office of Personnel Management Director Scott Kupor.

With the executive order signed by Trump earlier this week, the administration temporarily utilizes the current legal definition of artificial intelligence as outlined in Title 15 of the United States Code for "Super Intelligence."

Moreover, the directive establishes a 60-day timeframe for the Assistant to the President for Science and Technology (APST) to present suggested legislative text to Congress to create a revised federal statutory definition of "Super Intelligence" and propose related amendments to current US laws.

Previously, President Trump held a prestigious luncheon at the White House with leading technology executives—including SpaceX and Tesla head Elon Musk, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, among others—where he characterized the technological advancement as an extraordinary time for humanity.
