TVS Motor Appoints Peyman Kargar as Director and CEO
TVS Motor Company, a segment of TVS VENU and a worldwide producer of two- and three-wheel vehicles, has named Peyman Kargar as Director and Chief Executive Officer, starting January 27, 2027.
Kargar will take over from K. N. Radhakrishnan, who will remain as Director and CEO until January 27, 2027, to facilitate a smooth leadership transition. After the transition, Radhakrishnan will hold the position of Non-Executive Director until the next Annual General Meeting planned for July 2027.

The leadership change occurs as TVS Motor capitalizes on its recent business success and grows its footprint in India and global markets. In FY2025-26, the firm achieved global sales of 5.9 million vehicles and recorded a 30 percent increase in revenue.
Kargar holds the position of President, International Business, leveraging over thirty years of worldwide automotive leadership expertise spanning Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. His background includes product development, research and development, manufacturing, quality assurance, sales, and marketing.
With Kargar at the helm, TVS Motor’s International Business has emerged as a significant player in its worldwide growth. The business now represents 29 percent of the company's sales volume and is expanding at a rate of 33 percent.
Kargar, in his role as CEO, will prioritize the growth of TVS Motor's operations in India and international markets, emphasizing product innovation, premium offerings, and entry into developed regions.
