Veteran Tech Executive Scott Van Vliet Joins Xoriant's Board

Xoriant, a global digital engineering and AI-native technology services company owned by ChrysCapital, has named Scott Van Vliet, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President, to its Board of Directors.
He presently heads Azure OpenAI and AI Core Infrastructure at Microsoft, developing and managing the model training and inferencing framework that supports Azure Foundry Models.
He offers over twenty years of experience in scaling technology platforms that cater to hundreds of millions of users — covering three significant phases of AI, from conversational to collaborative to agentic.
At Microsoft, he directed the engineering and product teams consisting of almost 1,500 individuals for Microsoft Teams and Azure Communication Services, then championed AI-driven collaborative work management, and currently manages Azure OpenAI and AI Core Infrastructure.
He was formerly the SVP of Software Engineering at Relativity Space, developing the company's Factory Operating System; held the position of General Manager at Amazon; and worked as VP of Digital Play at Mattel.
