Wipro Enterprises Appoints Anita Bhat Zutshi as CFO

Anita Bhat Zutshi has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at Wipro Enterprises, bringing with her a wealth of experience in global finance leadership, having worked in various markets and industries for the past three years.

She will be responsible for developing financial, IT, and legal strategies for the two primary divisions of the company: Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting, which includes Home Care, Personal Care, Lighting, Seating, and Foods; and Wipro Infrastructure Engineering, which offers Hydraulic Solutions, Automation Solutions, Aerospace, Water Treatment, Additive Manufacturing, and Electronic Materials.

Before her current position, Zutshi held the role of Global CFO for Unilever's Ice Cream division, overseeing well-known brands like Walls, Magnum, and Ben & Jerry's in 76 nations. She was instrumental in improving business results, developing a strategy for value generation, and overseeing the financial and operational detachment from Unilever.

Her professional journey commenced in 1995 at Hindustan Unilever, where she occupied various significant positions in finance related to business collaboration, financial management, and specialized knowledge.

The company also highlighted that in 2014, she achieved the notable milestone of becoming the first female Vice President of Finance at HUL, simultaneously fulfilling the role of CFO for the Home and Personal Care division.

Afterwards, she assumed international duties as the Chief Financial Officer for NAMETRUB (comprising North Africa, Middle East, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus).

Zutshi has additionally held positions as a board member for various subsidiaries and holding companies under the umbrella of Unilever.

 

Additionally,  Vineet Agrawal, the CEO of Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting and managing director of Wipro Enterprises, is set to retire in January 2026 after four decades of service to the organization. Kumar Chander, who currently holds the position of president for Southeast Asia and Yardley India, will assume the role of CEO starting on February 1, 2026.

Starting in October 2025, Chander will collaborate closely with Agrawal to facilitate a seamless transition of leadership. His primary work location will be at the Wipro Enterprises headquarters situated in Bengaluru. In 1985, Agrawal began his tenure at Wipro and eventually assumed the role of CEO for Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting in 2002.

Through the course of the last twenty years, he has orchestrated the evolution of the company into a prominent multinational FMCG corporation. During his stewardship, Wipro Consumer Care successfully executed 15 targeted acquisitions, substantially broadened its international assortment of brands, and propelled Santoor to the status of one of India's leading soap brands.

In 2003, when Agrawal assumed leadership, the company's main focus was on producing vanaspati, soap, and lighting products solely within the boundaries of India. Presently, the company has expanded its operations to encompass more than 60 countries, offering a diverse range of products such as personal care, home care, skin care, food, lighting, and seating items.
