During his 10-year long tenure at Dubai and the Middle East, he has worked with the International Architects & Engineering Consultants, and carried-out the structural designing of the multi-storied structures & industrial structures, where precast technology was extensively used in the design and construction.

“Construction contract administration involves the architect acting as the agent of the client in various capacities during the design and construction process to protect the interests of the client such as assisting and negotiating with contractors for bids and verifying that contractor constructs the building as designed,” explains Prasad.

Metey has built its forte in the Precast construction and Composite construction technologies, which are less labour-oriented and quality assured at the factory production stage itself and faster to build. The company also excels in the utilization of Monolithic construction using the Aluminum formwork, which can be as cost-effective as precast and composite construction, in cases where the number of repetitions is more. “Monolithic construction is still majorly Aluminum formwork oriented type, CAPEX involved in buying number of sets and labour requirement is high compared to the above two types,” adds Prasad.

An industry veteran with a vast 42-year long experience to his credit, Prasad holds a post-graduate degree in structural engineering and three years of research experience from NIT Warangal. During his 10-year long tenure at Dubai and the Middle East, he has successfully carried-out the structural designing of the multi-storied structures and industrial structures.
