Give a glimpse of your professional background and experiences. Define Nirmal Glasstech Industries as an organization and how is it placed in the industry?
I started working with my company from 1996 to assist my father in the family business. Back then, he was manufacturing small spare parts for glass bottles in the manufacturing industry. Within a short span of time I realized that the industry has a huge potential and we can do wonders by leveraging the best technology. We are well known for variable equipment products. They are an important aspect when producing quality bottles is concerned.
We are the largest manufactures and exporters of glass bottles in the industry, exporting to 48 plus countries at the present. We are makers of all types of glass bottle
range like cosmetic, perfume, eyeliner, liquor, coke, vaccines, etc. We are well known in the sector for perfume bottles and now, vaccines bottles in India. We export to South African countries, North America, South America, Japan Korea, Russia, etc. We assure the best quality and engineering in our products.

Being the largest exporters in the segment, Nirmal Glasstech is the only name that comes in the mind of our clients when they talk about glass bottles. The company is well known for its quality and we take pride in the fact that OEMs choose us over the other providers for glass bottles. We have the best manufacturing facilities when it comes to bottle quality, design and strength. We also use the best technology to bring down cost and weight of the bottles.
We are also known for our best customer responses. We have strong international relations with the top companies across the world and have a longterm business network with most of them (15 years with Japan, for instance).

Skilled labour is a challenging aspect that the manufacturing industry often struggles with. We could come down to 40 percent manpower with enabling automation in the production process.
In the road ahead, what are your goals and how do you plan to execute them?
As yet, we are the experts in the industry and have the best experience in terms of technology, quality and marketing in the sector. We have grown to 17 percent in the last two years, despite the pandemic. The future roadmap primarily lies in increasing the turnover and expansion.
Besides, we want to focus more towards the best delivery to our customers. Through research and development, we are planning to deploy the best technology towards energy consumption that will in turn, bring down the cost of production, thus leading to more cost-efficiency for our clients. We want to become the top five manufacturers of glass bottles in the world.
In your professional journey so far, which are the milestones that have bestowed you with utmost satisfaction - both as an individual and as an entrepreneur?
Being among the top 10 manufacturers and the top choice of the OEMs across the world has been the biggest achievement so far. We also stand proud as the winners of two National awards for best exports and best engineering industry from MSME. We also received an award from Government of Rajasthan.

Nirmal Mundra is a dental student who later pursued MBA in marketing to support his father in the business. With his ideas, training and marketing expertise, he plans to take Nirmal Glasstech to new heights. Interestingly, he loves reading about Vastu and his favorite destination to relax is Maldives.
