
Adani Group Expands Aircraft MRO Business with Indamer's Acquisition

Adani group has gone ahead to bolster its position in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO). In the acquisition of air Works, it has now purchased another giant MRO player in Nagpur.
Adani Defence Systems and Technologies, the joint venture partners of Horizon Aero Solutions, have entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a 100 percent stake of Indamer Technics (ITPL), one of India leading Private sector MRO providers.
The 50-50 joint venture Horizon is with ADSTL and Prime Aero Services LLP owned by Prajay Patel, director of Indamer Technics. This acquisition also strengthens the following trend of Adani Group in the MRO industry.
ITPL based at Nagpur in the Mihan special economic zone (SEZ) also has a facility with developments on the 30 acre site that can accommodate up to 15 aircraft bays in 10 hangars. ITPL with DGCA, FAA (USA) and other international civil aviation regulatory approvals provides MRO services such as, lease return check-ups, heavy c-check, structural repairs and aircraft painting to both Indian and foreign customers.
