Bartronics India Limited (BIL), a prominent rural financial inclusion and technology firm operating across the nation, has officially appointed Dr. Raja Krishna Murthy M as the Head of the Agri Tech Business division. This strategic move aims to enhance the company's leadership in the field as it expands its agricultural technology and climate-focused growth projects.

The appointment is in accordance with Bartronics' strategic emphasis on Project Avio Agritech, an integrated agri-tech platform aimed at generating innovative and scalable revenue opportunities in agricommerce, sustainable agriculture, digital advisory, and high-integrity carbon and climate solutions.

This initiative also capitalizes on the company's broad rural presence. Dr. Raja, a Ph.D. recipient who received a Gold Medal in Agribusiness Management, boasts more than two decades of expertise in areas such as agribusiness development, sustainable agriculture practices, and environmental, social, and governance-focused initiatives.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with prominent global organizations like UNICEF, the World Bank, USAID, GIZ, IFAD, the Asian Development Bank, DFID, UNIDO, and the European Union. Dr. Raja has successfully implemented extensive, results-oriented programs across various regions in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

Dr. Raja has overseen and supervised agricultural and sustainability projects that directly benefit over 280,000 farmers, with his leadership reaching over one million farmers worldwide. His expertise extends to implementing projects aimed at reducing carbon and methane emissions in accordance with VERRA, VCS, and Gold Standard guidelines, positioning him as a strong candidate for developing commercially sustainable agricultural and carbon reduction solutions on a global scale.

Bartronics' agricultural and carbon strategy is grounded in its well-developed rural infrastructure, which presently engages with about 40 million farmers in 5,000 villages through its financial inclusion and last-mile service network. The Avio Agritech project aims to capitalize on this extensive reach by facilitating organized agricultural value chains, carbon aggregation, and climate-aligned results associated with international markets, all the while enhancing farm productivity, resilience, and farmer earnings.
