EduFund Launches Financial Distribution Platform for MFDs, IFAs

imgNearly a year after raising a $6 million Series A led by Cercano Management and MassMutual Ventures, EduFund has announced the launch of Vittam, its financial-distribution platform for Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs) and Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs).

Vittam, meaning wealth, reflects a simple belief: wealth is built over a lifetime, but it is entrusted relationship by relationship. Already live with more than 500 MFD and IFA partners, Vittam gives India’s advisor network the infrastructure to serve families across that full financial life: a broader product range, direct digital onboarding, research access, marketing support, training and end-to-end operational assistance.

For millions of families, important financial decisions are made with a person they know, not charts on a screen. That person is often an MFD or IFA: an advisor who has spent years earning confidence, understanding family goals and being present through life’s milestones.

“MFDs and IFAs are at the heart of financial decision-making for Indian families,” says Eela Dubey, Co-Founder and CEO of EduFund and Vittam. “They work hard to earn trust, one conversation and one family at a time. Yet many are still constrained by fragmented tools, limited product access and manual processes. Vittam is built to ease that journey: to give them the infrastructure behind the trust they have already built.”

Vittam helps distributors move beyond a single product or income stream and become a more complete financial partner to the families they serve. Partners gain access to a multi-product financial stack spanning mutual funds, education loans, US-market investments, GIFT City funds, immigration by investment, forex and goal-based planning. They can directly onboard clients through Vittam and access backend research, transaction and operational support.

The platform also offers ready-to-use marketing and client-facing content, SIP and lumpsum calculators, structured business training through the Vittam Partner Growth programs and free NISM V-A examination support from onboarding onwards. AI-powered book-of-business insights are also in development.

“Technology should not replace the advisor-client relationship,” says Dubey. “It should strengthen it".

"Our goal is to give every partner a team behind them, through research, operations, marketing, training and technology, so they can spend more time with families and less time navigating fragmented systems".

Alongside this launch, EduFund’s consumer app is evolving into Vittam by EduFund, reflecting the company’s broader wealth proposition while retaining the trust families associate with EduFund.

Founded to help Indian families plan for a child's education, EduFund has evolved over the last 6.5 years into a full financial lifecycle platform trusted by more than 300,000 families. As families dream bigger and progress through different life stages, their financial needs evolve from education to investments, loans, insurance, retirement and global opportunities. EduFund enables families to finance these aspirations through integrated financial solutions, while empowering the trusted MFDs and IFAs who understand their evolving goals to guide them through every stage of that journey.
