Zoo Media, an autonomous marketing technology network, has appointed Anita Kotwani as Senior Partner of Growth.

This appointment signifies a notable advancement in leadership as the company seeks to enhance its comprehensive services and broaden its global presence.

Anita transitions to her new role following an extensive tenure at WPP Media (Mindshare), which lasted more than 16 years. Subsequently, she held the position of Chief Client Officer at Dentsu for five years.

Her professional background encompasses various aspects such as media, creative strategy, and customer experience management (CXM). She excels in overseeing substantial client ecosystems and facilitating integration among different functions.

Zoo Media's decision to appoint the individual reflects its strong conviction that autonomous networks have the capability to rival and surpass traditional conglomerates by virtue of their agility and seamless coordination.

Suveer Bajaj, one of the co-founders, highlighted that Anita's recruitment goes beyond a typical leadership appointment, framing it as a calculated move to steer the company towards its future expansion.

She is tasked with aligning capabilities among these businesses, enhancing collaboration, and driving growth in domestic and international markets, including New York and Dubai.

 

In the past, Anita has held positions where he was responsible for managing significant client partnerships and enhancing collaboration among various departments such as media, creative, and CXM. Zoo Media anticipates benefiting from his expertise as they strive to establish a more integrated and technology-driven network.

Pratik Gupta, one of the co-founders, emphasized the talent of the individual in integrating strategic planning with implementation. He pointed out that her comprehension of how customers assess value will be crucial in enhancing the company's products in a technology-driven environment.

Anita characterized her relocation as a component of a larger shift within the industry, emphasizing the increasing importance of speed, intelligence, and seamless integration over mere size.

She observed that although expansive global networks serve as a basis for comprehending the functioning of interconnected systems, the evolution of advertising will be shaped by adaptable models capable of uniting creative, media, and technology seamlessly. Her new position will be centered on creating structures that improve Zoo Media's abilities and establish it as a formidable standalone network in both the Indian and global markets.
