GSK Velu Named Chairman of FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has declared the reinstatement of GSK Velu as the Chairman of the FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council for the year 2025-2026, signifying his fifth successive year leading the Council.

Velu holds the positions of chairman and managing director within the entities of Trivitron Group of Companies, Neuberg Diagnostics, and Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospitals. He also serves as a director and shareholder at Kauvery Group of Hospitals, as well as holds similar positions at Apollo Dental and Apollo Dialysis.

Furthermore, he is a general and lending partner at Stakeboat Capital. Additionally, he fulfills the role of honorary consul to the Republic of Estonia in India. His ongoing appointments demonstrate FICCI's confidence in his ability to offer strategic guidance in the fields of healthcare, manufacturing, investments, and policy.

Commenting on his re-appointment, Velu said, “It is an honour to continue serving as Chairman of the FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council for the fifth consecutive year. Tamil Nadu stands at a critical inflection point—where manufacturing excellence, healthcare innovation and policy collaboration must converge to create scalable, globally competitive outcomes”.
