JAGSoM Promotes Dr.Jagdish Sheth to Chairman Emeritus
The Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JAGSoM) has unveiled a strategic shift in its Board of Governors leadership, with the promotion of Dr. Jagdish Sheth to the distinguished position of Chairman Emeritus and the designation of Sudhir Sethi as the independent, non-executive Chairman of its Advisory Council.
The decision acknowledges the exceptional achievements and worldwide scholarly impact of Dr. Sheth, while also incorporating leadership from the industry to enhance the institution's future trajectory.

In his new role as Chairman Emeritus, Dr. Sheth will persist in providing guidance for JAGSoM's overarching vision and offering mentorship to its leadership team.
As the Founder and Chairman of Chiratae Ventures, Sethi assumes a prestigious position in support of the school's strategic objectives.
With a wealth of experience spanning more than 40 years in cultivating and investing in technology-driven enterprises, his inclusion is anticipated to augment JAGSoM's alignment with industry, avenues for innovation, and international standing.

Dr. Sheth, a renowned scholar with international recognition and holding the prestigious Charles H. Kellstadt Professorship at Goizueta Business School, has been instrumental in influencing JAGSoM's academic aspirations and worldwide perspective.

Sethi leads the recently established Advisory Council, which is composed of esteemed individuals like A. Parasuraman, Rakesh Mediratta, R. Ravi Kumar, Benjamin Stevenin, Mike Shah, V. A. Sastry, Tan Chin Tiong, Richard D. Phillips, Vikas Gupta, as well as Sanjay Padode, Kalpana Padode, Kritika Padode Bhandari, and Sridevi Varanasi.
Under new leadership, JAGSoM seeks to enhance its strategic emphasis on industry-connected education that aligns with modern economic conditions, integrating business ownership and innovative thinking as fundamental qualities of leadership, reinforcing partnership-based innovation networks, and augmenting its international reputation through high-quality academics and cooperative efforts.
