Juniper Energy Commissions 59 MWp Solar Project in Wardha, Maharashtra

Juniper Green Energy reports that the 59 MWp/42 MW solar portion of their 75 MW hybrid power facility has been successfully put into service, at Maharashtra's Taluka Karanja (Ghadge), District Wardha.

The plant was finished an astounding 17 months ahead of schedule, and it was put into service on June 6, 2025.

The 75 MW Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) capacity of the Juniper Green Power Five Project is made up of 26.4 MW of installed wind capacity and a contracted 75 MW of solar power. 

The project's Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) is November 17, 2026, and the PPA was signed with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) on November 18, 2024.

An important step toward the hybrid project's complete operationalization is the commissioning of this solar component.

Juniper Green Energy Limited had previously given Winsol Engineers Limited a sizable purchase order of about Rs 10,36,00,000 (Rupees Ten Crore Thirty-Six Lakh Only), GST excluded. Dated June 10, 2025, and ratified June 13, 2025, this domestic contract is for the supply of several materials for the wind power project in Jam Khambaliya, Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat.

For a 33 KV transmission line network, specifically with a single circuit AL 59 Dog line, a single circuit ECO panther line, and a single pole double circuit ECO panther line with ADSS cable on a lumpsum basis, the full scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, inspection, testing, packing, dispatch, transportation, and transit insurance for material supply. All of these materials must be delivered by Winsol Engineers Limited within six months of the purchase order date.
