Keventers, the renowned milkshake brand with a history spanning over a century, is pleased to announce the appointment of Shaurya Prabhat as its new Chief Executive Officer.

With eight years of experience within the company, Shaurya takes over from Agastya Dalmia, who orchestrated the brand's resurgence among contemporary consumers.

Shaurya joined Keventers in 2017 to oversee the growth of the business, particularly during a time when the company primarily relied on franchise operations.

Throughout his tenure, he has gradually assumed additional roles in strategy development, marketing, operations, human resources, and overall business optimization, significantly influencing the brand's strategic direction from its base in New Delhi.

Before his time at Keventers, Shaurya held a position at The Smart Cube (now incorporated into WNS Global Services), where he provided consultancy services to major multinational corporations in various industries such as retail, finance, pharmaceuticals, and energy.

Shaurya, in his capacity as Chief Executive Officer, has outlined several key objectives for the near future, such as the expansion of the company through the establishment of 70 new outlets within the next year. Additionally, there is a plan to significantly enhance the size of the business within three years and then further double it by the fifth year.

“I’d like to thank the Board for entrusting me with the responsibility of shaping the company’s next phase of growth”, says Shaurya Prabhat, CEO & Managing Director, Keventers.

Shaurya adds, “What I’ve learned over eight years is that the mission never really changes: grow the company, grow the brand, and do it with honesty”.

“If you manage your inputs with excellence, the outcomes take care of themselves. I’m extremely excited about the vast opportunities ahead for us,” says Shaurya.

“I have worked alongside Shaurya for over eight years and known him for longer – I have seen how he thinks, how he leads, and how deeply he cares about this brand. He has led almost all significant decisions we have taken over the years and helped us navigate through the most complex of situations – from Covid and restructuring our business model to fundraising and governance. I could not be prouder of what we have built together, and I could not be more confident about what he will build next”, says Agastya Dalmia, Founder, Keventers.

Furthermore, the company is currently investigating various avenues for growth outside of its primary outlet business. This includes venturing into retail and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectors, as well as quick commerce and institutional sales.

This initiative aligns with the organization's overarching "House of Brands" strategy, with the goal of developing a diverse portfolio of food and beverage products catered towards the preferences of contemporary Indian consumers.

The brand is broadening its menu to include trendy items such as waffles, boba tea, and cheesecake ice creams in order to maintain relevance while upholding its traditional charm.
