Lufthansa Systems India has named Ranjan Saxena as the Head of Human Resources, representing a significant senior leadership hire as the aviation technology company intensifies its emphasis on talent management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness in India.

Ranjan made a public statement on LinkedIn, disclosing his new role as the head of the HR department at Lufthansa Systems India. In this position, he will be responsible for overseeing various aspects such as workforce planning, hiring, talent development, and employee engagement within the Indian sector.

“I have started a new role as Head of HR at Lufthansa Systems India”, Ranjan says, adding that he looks forward to collaborating with teams across the organization to build strong relationships and support growth.

Ranjan has recently transitioned from his role at EY to join Lufthansa Systems India. At EY, Ranjan held the position of Senior Manager in People Consulting, overseeing talent design and activation initiatives for clients of Fortune 100 global capability centers (GCC). His responsibilities at EY included ensuring alignment between talent strategies and the growth and operational advancements of the businesses he worked with.

Prior to joining EY, Ranjan held the position of Associate Director and Head of Human Resources at ANSR. In this role, he assisted Fortune 500 companies in establishing and running Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India, while also overseeing internal HR matters for the organization. His previous experiences include holding senior Human Resources leadership roles at AtkinsRéalis and American Tower, where he was involved in HR business partnerships, shared services, transformation projects, and regional HR leadership.

Ranjan possesses almost 15 years of extensive HR experience, gained through various consulting and industry positions in India, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.

His areas of expertise include HR business partnering, performance management, learning and development, HR operations, analytics, and overseeing large-scale recruitment efforts.

 

Ranjan expressed gratitude to his colleagues who played a role in the transition, specifically recognizing the recruitment and onboarding teams for their assistance. He stated his intention to further cultivate the knowledge and connections established during his time at EY.
