Mankind Pharma, Denovo Sciences to Launch AI-led Drug Discovery
Mankind Pharma Ltd has announced a strategic partnership with Denovo Sciences to initiate an AI-driven drug discovery initiative.
Mankind Pharma stated that the collaboration represents a significant milestone in the company's emphasis on research and development driven by innovation and enabled by technology.
The partnership aims at three main objectives: shortening early drug discovery timelines, enhancing the quality of lead candidates, and guaranteeing that candidates with the greatest development potential progress, it notes.

The company stated that both partners seek to minimize the time and resources allocated to candidates that might ultimately fail by employing computational accuracy in the initial phases of discovery.
The collaboration will unite Mankind Pharma's robust R&D capabilities, experimental validation facilities, and clinical development knowledge with Denovo Sciences' unique platform for AI-based molecular generation and prioritization. Together, both organizations will work under a human-in-the-loop model, where AI generates and evaluates molecular candidates, while scientific experts guide, validate, and refine the results at every stage.
Accelerated discovery processes and improved candidate selection can facilitate the quicker delivery of unique, effective, and accessible treatments to patients, it noted.
