With more than 20 years of experience in customer operations, sales, strategy, and service excellence, Ajit is a highly skilled professional known for his ability to create customer-focused teams and expand service models while maintaining a compassionate approach.

Ajit embarked on his professional journey in the Business Process Management industry at WNS Global Services in 2006, honing his skills in service delivery and guiding teams. He subsequently broadened his experience on a global scale at Nomura, concentrating on governance and program management.
Equipped with an MBA (PGDBA) in Operations from Welingkar Institute of Management, he transitioned into more expansive strategic positions. His involvement in the matrimony sector has extended for more than ten years, largely centered around Shaadi.com, the leading brand of Matrimony.com Ltd.

Beginning his tenure as an Operations Manager in 2012, he progressed consistently through various positions - from Senior Operations Manager to Associate Director, Director, and eventually Senior Director of Operations. During his time, he oversaw teams across multiple cities, managed national service operations, implemented automation initiatives, and developed strategies for customer lifecycle management.
He is recognized for his efforts in making operations more centered around customer needs and enhancing the company's high-end service offerings.
In December 2025, Nair was promoted to the position of Vice President & Business Head for Assisted Services, where he is responsible for a significant revenue sector and spearheads digital transformation efforts for premium matchmaking services.
