Moksh Chopra Moves from KFC India to Taco Bell International

Moksh Chopra, General Manager at KFC India & Partner Countries, will assume a new position at Taco Bell International as Market Lead for the Indian Subcontinent, starting September 7, 2026, as announced by Yum! Labels.

Chopra has dedicated 16 years to Yum!, influencing KFC’s operations and company values. In his latest position as General Manager, he has played a key role in enhancing business fundamentals and influencing the brand's long-term growth strategy throughout the BMU.

With his guidance, KFC India grew its market share to nearly 27 percent, while also increasing its restaurant presence and operating profit twofold. The company achieved robust growth in system sales, enhanced unit economics, and improved experiences for both consumers and employees.

In his new position, Chopra will lead strategy, business development, and operational effectiveness for Taco Bell in India, Sri Lanka, and Kuwait. Taco Bell is regarded as a significant driver of growth for Yum! in the area. Chopra aims to enhance the brand’s growth by leveraging insights from KFC India and collaborating tightly with Taco Bell’s franchise owners and local staff.

At the same time, the effort to find a lasting replacement for Chopra at KFC India & Partner Countries is in progress, with another announcement anticipated soon.

Meanwhile, Aman Lal, Chief People, Culture and Operations Officer at KFC India & Partner Countries, will assume the duties of Interim General Manager. Leveraging his experience and knowledge of the industry, Lal will manage leadership stability and maintain the business's focus on its primary objectives throughout the transition.
