Reviving books, narratives, and discussions centered on the theme ‘Stories Make Us Human,’ the Neev Literature Festival focusing on children’s literature returns. Now in its ninth edition, kids and families enjoy the experience of this festival took place at the Neev Academy campus in Yemalur, on September 20-21, 2025.

NLF 2024 attracted over 4000 participants from throughout Bangalore and the nation, comprising children, parents, and educators from various socio-economic backgrounds, including IB institutions, government-operated schools, and NGOs.

NLF2025 will accommodate 80 delegates, feature 134 sessions for children, parents, and educators, along with 2000+ selected titles at the children’s book marketplace for more than 5000 attendees across two days.

Each delegate and participant gets  closer to fulfilling the goal of making reading appealing.

Additionally, there is launches of books, interactions with authors, signing events, masterclasses, a book award ceremony, and a quiz focused on books.

The event features Uma Krishnaswami alongside international delegates as she reflects on her earlier work, Book Uncle and Me, introducing two new titles, alongside Emily Drabble, the former editor of The Guardian's children's books section, now with BookTrust, UK

NLF2025 honors books and reading through two days of in-depth author engagements, captivating performances, and inventive workshops led by prominent figures in Indian and international children's literature. Ideal for youthful readers, older kids, and the young-minded, NLF commemorates tales that ignite creativity.
