Nestlé India Names Prateek Tripathi as Head of IS/IT

Nestlé India has recently made an official announcement regarding the alteration in its top-level executive team, with the appointment of Prateek Tripathi as the incoming Head of IS/IT & Nestlé Business Excellence.

Prateek is scheduled to assume his new position on the first of April, 2026, pending necessary approvals.

He will be taking over the responsibilities from Krishna Guha Roy, who is set to transition to a more substantial leadership position within the overarching Nestlé organization.

The company announced the upcoming change through an official disclosure to the stock exchanges in accordance with Regulation 30 of SEBI's Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR). Roy is scheduled to step down from her current position on March 31, 2026 as she moves into a new global role within the company.

At the age of 45, Prateek became a member of the Nestlé team in 2019, assuming the role of Data Governance Lead for Zone AOA (Asia, Oceania, and Africa) starting in February 2025.

Throughout his tenure, he has been instrumental in enhancing the company's analytical and data integration capacities in the South Asia area. Before his tenure at Nestlé, Tripathi has served in top management positions at various well-known companies such as GE, Citibank, Parle Agro, and Nielsen, accruing over 21 years of expertise in analytics, data governance, and corporate change management.

He commenced his career at Nestlé in the capacity of Data Analytics Manager, demonstrating a pivotal role in advancing the company's data governance structure.

 

This involved guaranteeing adherence to internal regulations and pinpointing areas for improvement in the Zone AOA markets.

Prateek has successfully completed a Bachelor's program in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics at Osmania University, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management at the prestigious institution of Goa Institute of Management.

According to the submission, his background in analytics, governance, and digital integration makes him well-suited to oversee the IT and business excellence operations of Nestlé India as the company expands its technology and data-driven projects.

The company stated that the disclosure is being provided for informational and record-keeping purposes in compliance with SEBI regulations pertaining to changes in senior management.
