PM Modi to Visit Andhra to Lay Foundation for Projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Andhra Pradesh for several official activities, where he plans to inaugurate and commence groundwork for development initiatives valued at Rs 13,430 crore. He will also take part in the "Super GST Super Savings" program in Kurnool.

These initiatives cover important areas including industrial development, electrical transmission, transportation infrastructure, rail networks, defense production, and oil and gas sectors.

Modi will commence construction, launch and present to the country various development initiatives totaling approximately Rs 13,430 crore. These initiatives cover important sectors.

He will begin construction of the Transmission System Enhancement at Kurnool-III Pooling Station with an investment exceeding Rs 2,880 crore. This initiative involves building a 765 KV dual-circuit Kurnool-III Pooling Station-Chilakaluripeta transmission line, which will boost transformation capacity by 6,000 MVA and facilitate extensive renewable energy transmission to aid the country's development.

Similarly, he will commence construction for the Orvakal Industrial Area in Kurnool and the Kopparthy Industrial Area in Kadapa, representing a combined investment of more than Rs 4,920 crore.

Created through a collaboration between the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT) and Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (APIIC), these contemporary multi-sector industrial centers offer ready-to-use infrastructure and incorporate a walk-to-work design.

These centers are projected to draw investments worth Rs 21,000 crore and create around one lakh employment opportunities, strengthening industrial growth and international competitiveness in the Rayalaseema area of the southern state.

The Prime Minister will additionally establish the foundation stone for the six-lane new highway connecting Sabbavaram to Sheelanagar, involving expenditure exceeding Rs 960 crore.

 

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu invited PM Modi to the "Super GST - Super Savings" program during his recent New Delhi visit. The GST Council has recently sanctioned a comprehensive restructuring of the goods and services tax system, reducing taxes on numerous everyday items including hair oil, corn flakes, personal health and life insurance policies, and many other products.

Naidu mentioned in a recent social media statement that the forthcoming Super GST Super Savings event in Kurnool will honor public excitement and gratitude for this progressive measure, and he was honored to invite PM Modi to attend this occasion.

Based on the TDP leader's statement, PM Modi will outline the advantages of GST reforms to citizens. Naidu has recently instructed officials to prepare for the PM to establish the foundation for 'Drone City' during his October 16 visit to Srisailam.
