PM to Focus Modernization at Combined Commanders' Conference

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch conversations about enhanced integration of military forces and technological advancement at the Combined Commanders' Conference (CCC) 2025 in Kolkata, which he will officially open on September 15.

During the two-day event from September 15 to 17, PM Modi will guide discussions aimed at further bolstering the Armed Forces to ensure they remain agile and effective in a progressively complicated geo-strategic environment.

This year's conference theme is 'Year of Reforms - Transforming for the Future,' and it will concentrate on Reforms, Transformation and Change along with Operational Preparedness, according to the Defence Ministry.

The CCC serves as the highest-level strategic discussion platform for the Armed Forces, uniting the country's leading civilian and military officials to share perspectives on conceptual and strategic matters.

Alongside PM Modi, attendees will include Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Minister of State for Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff and the Defence Secretary.

Representatives from various other ministries are expected to participate, along with personnel from the three military services and the Integrated Defence Staff.

The emphasis of CCC 2025 on Reforms, Transformation and Change as well as Operational Preparedness demonstrates the Armed Forces' dedication to organizational improvements, enhanced integration and technological advancement, while maintaining superior multi-domain operational capabilities.

 

The discussions will aim to further enhance the Armed Forces' ability to remain flexible and decisive amid an increasingly intricate geo-strategic environment.

Following established practices of comprehensive participation, the conference will include interactive forums with military officers and staff of different levels, ensuring that ground-level insights contribute to high-level strategic conversations.
