Radico Khaitan has named Chief Financial Officer Dilip K. Banthiya as Whole-time Director, also titled Executive Director & CFO, and promoted Saket Somani to Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Both roles will commence on October 28, 2026, as the spirits producer synchronizes its financial leadership with its premiumization strategy and growth initiatives.

The appointments position Banthiya on the firm's board and broaden Somani's duties in financial planning, investor relations, capital markets, and information technology. The modifications create a more defined separation of duties within the finance function, merging board-level financial supervision with operational and strategic implementation.

Banthiya, who has been with Radico Khaitan for more than 18 years, will manage the company's financial strategy and governance at the board level. Somani, who became part of the company in 2020, will assume an expanded role in financial planning and control, investor relations, and the organization's digital transformation.

Banthiya's elevation adds over 35 years of expertise in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, international fundraising, equity and equity-linked offerings, treasury, risk management, and corporate restructuring to the board.

A Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Banthiya has managed Radico Khaitan's finance operations during several phases of growth, encompassing investments in capacity, brands, and organizational skills. His duties have also encompassed enhancing governance structures and managing funding needs as the organization grew its operations.

Somani has nearly 20 years of expertise in corporate finance, strategy, capital markets, investor relations, and investment banking. Prior to his promotion, he held the position of Senior Vice President – Finance & Strategy, managing financial planning and control, working capital management, and evaluating capital projects and new business prospects.

In his earlier position, Somani collaborated with the leadership team on growth and portfolio priorities and directed the company's investor relations program, interacting with institutional investors and enhancing its visibility in the capital markets.

The updated framework designates board-level financial oversight to Banthiya, while Somani's broadened responsibilities include financial planning, engaging with investors, and technology-driven projects. The appointments additionally highlight the importance of merging finance with business strategy as Radico Khaitan persists in investing in its premium portfolio and global operations.

The leadership shifts occur as Radico Khaitan maintains its emphasis on premium spirits, global brand development, and sustainable growth. The firm has recognized capital distribution, governance, and investment in operational capabilities as crucial areas for its upcoming growth phase.

The appointments come after a previous series of leadership promotions at the company this year, as stated by Abhishek Khaitan.

The recent modifications broaden this strategy to encompass the board and top finance leaders, while clarifying roles related to financial oversight, planning, and execution.

Effective October 28, Radico Khaitan's updated finance leadership framework will introduce a seasoned finance executive to the boardroom and broaden the role of an internal leader to include strategy, capital markets, and technology.
