Simplilearn Appoints Sudipto Mitra as Chief Revenue Officer

Simplilearn, a prominent company specializing in digital skills development, has named Sudipto Mitra as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for its commercial division. With more than 20 years of experience in guiding digital transformation, business growth, and consulting management, Mitra has a track record of building successful teams in both big corporations and innovative SaaS firms.

In his new role at Simplilearn, Sudipto will lead efforts to increase global revenue, enhance partnerships, and expand the brand's presence in important markets.

Before joining Simplilearn, Sudipto worked in different sales and go-to-market leadership positions at Accenture, WNS, and EDS in the US, overseeing large global teams focused on IT outsourcing and business process transformations.

At IBM Consulting, he was a Partner and Industry Leader leading a team of over 9,000 professionals worldwide, where he directed major digital transformation projects for Fortune 500 companies. In 2017, he became the Chief Revenue Officer at WorkFusion, a B2B enterprise AI-driven automation platform, where he played a key role in expanding the company and guiding it to a successful acquisition by investors in 2021.
