Kurnala has been heading Instamart's product division since 2024, later expanding his role to include growth and brand marketing. In his new capacity, he will integrate growth, marketing, analytics, and product functions.

Throughout his time, Kurnala has contributed to various product initiatives at Instamart, such as AI-driven search and personalization, Maxxsaver, multi-pod delivery, and pricing and merchandising. He has additionally participated in the independent Instamart application and the monetization of its brand platform.

Garg, after over seven years at Swiggy, has been heading engineering for Instamart and New Initiatives as a senior vice-president. Since the business's launch, he has overseen the development of Instamart’s consumer-oriented technology infrastructure and supply chain systems. He has also created technology platforms for advertising, pricing, discounts, and catalogs that are currently utilized by Instamart, Food Marketplace, and other companies.

His earlier duties encompassed business finance for Food and Instamart and, more recently, product and operations for driver and delivery services. He will keep managing the driver and delivery operations while also being responsible for the food customer experience.

Swiggy mentioned that Goyal contributed to the expansion of the food marketplace and operational efficiencies, along with the firm's IPO process.

He also spearheaded the initiation of the shared delivery network for Toing, which is currently functional in over 50 cities. The appointments occur as Swiggy persists in reorganizing and bolstering its senior leadership team throughout various sectors.

Nandita Sinha serves as the CEO of Instamart, with Gautam Swaroop as the chief business officer. Earlier this year, Swapnil Bajpai was promoted to CEO of Swiggy’s Dineout and Scenes segment. Sidharth Bhakoo remains the chief business officer for the food marketplace.

Girish Menon, the chief human resources officer at Swiggy, stated that the company's strategy involves nurturing internal talent by transitioning executives between functions and assigning them increased responsibilities.
