TCS Joins Hands With Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange

Tata Consultancy Services Limited has collaborated with the Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange to enhance and modernize the infrastructure of the exchange's derivatives market.

The collaboration will have TCS establish technology platforms aimed at giving DGCE a scalable base for future expansion, improved operational efficiency, and the creation of new products.

The firms stated that the initiative aims to enhance DGCE’s capacity to address the changing needs of regional and global market players.

The partnership merges TCS’s financial market technology expertise with DGCE’s role as a derivatives exchange catering to players in the Middle East and global markets.

According to the agreement, TCS Share Price will provide a suite of platforms that encompass market infrastructure, surveillance, securities trading, and connectivity. The technology suite features TCS BaNCS for Market Infrastructure to facilitate central counterparty clearing and Quartz for Surveillance to oversee market manipulation, fraud, and various trading irregularities. TCS BaNCS Securities Trading will assist market participants looking for access to various asset classes.

The collaboration will also incorporate TCS’s Quartz Gateway for market connectivity that meets industry standards, along with AI-driven reporting and analytics.

 

A trading and matching solution from a global exchange partner will comprise another element of the technology implementation.

The announcement states that the technology implementation aims to assist DGCE in broadening its product offerings while enhancing the effectiveness of its trading, clearing, and monitoring activities.
