Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a worldwide leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, has enlarged its strategic alliance with Tryg, a prominent Scandinavian non-life insurer operating in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.

Under the seven-year €550M contract, TCS will collaborate with Tryg to streamline and standardize operations in its three primary markets and promote technological advancement to hasten the company's growth trajectory.

TCS will utilize its range of AI and Cloud solutions throughout Tryg’s complete IT environment to enhance delivery capacity, automate fundamental processes, and improve customer experience.

By managing application development and oversight, as well as providing comprehensive infrastructure services, user services, and cybersecurity, TCS will advance Tryg’s ‘United Towards 27’ initiative focused on streamlining IT operations and enhancing the ability to create new digital solutions for over six million customers.

The broadened partnership will allow TCS to simplify a traditionally intricate IT environment influenced by organic growth and acquisitions, consolidate disparate operating models across regions, and integrate automation and AI to improve efficiency in all aspects of the IT operations value chain.

Johan Kirstein Brammer, Group CEO, Tryg says, “We are simplifying our IT landscape enabling us to further invest in new technology and develop our business across Scandinavia. This means we can deliver the best customer experiences, continue to differentiate Tryg in the market, and strengthen our competitiveness. The extended partnership with TCS, which is one of the leading technology companies in the world, is a key initiative supporting our 2027 target to simplify and scale Tryg’s business. TCS is the right partner to assure an important contribution towards achieving our ambition.”

Under the new agreement, TCS will create an integrated digital-first operating model to manage business in the three main markets where Tryg operates, merging functions that were previously scattered across the region.

The initiative will guarantee scalability and accelerate Tryg’s market entry timeline, while enhancing operational efficiency. Through the optimization of development and operational expenses, TCS will establish a basis for a scalable and sustainable IT environment.
