Umiya Buildcon Limited, a publicly traded company operating in two sectors, declares the hiring of Prabhugouda Biradar as Chief Technology Officer.
This appointment underscores Umiya Buildcon’s commitment to enhance its Research & Development ecosystem, focusing on Design & Make in India along with creating a local Network OS and hardware stack.
In his new position, Prabhugouda Biradar will lead Umiya Buildcon’s technology strategy by enhancing essential engineering practices, updating the product development process, and creating a proficient, future-oriented technical team. His background will aid in speeding up innovation throughout the MRO-TEK product range and enhance the company’s capacity to provide dependable and smart communication platforms.
Prabhugouda Biradar is a skilled technology executive with over 30 years of expertise in distributed systems, carrier-grade Network Operating Systems (included IP Routing, MPLS-TE, IPv6, Security, SDN/NFV, 4G/5G), and AdTech solutions.

He has guided the creation of five generations of telecom Network OS and effectively transitioned mission-critical programs from idea to worldwide implementation.
He holds a postgraduate degree in Software Systems from BITS Pilani and has held high-level leadership positions at Philips, Cisco Systems, and Huawei, where he was Vice President of the Network Business Unit and AdTech. He has mentored startups in Causal AI and AdTech, aiding in progress in automation, intelligence, and platform engineering.
