White House Unveils China-US Agricultural Trade Pact

After US President Donald Trump's trip to China, the White House reported that China has consented to purchase at least $ 17 billion in agricultural goods each year over three years.
This occurred after an accord between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping on several crucial issues, aimed at improving global stability and increasing trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
China reinstated market access for US beef by renewing over 400 expired listings of US beef facilities and including new ones. China will collaborate with US authorities to remove all bans on US beef facilities. According to the White House, China has reinstated poultry imports from U.S. states identified by the USDA as free from highly pathogenic avian influenza.
The White House stated that both leaders concurred the U.S. and China need to establish a "constructive relationship of strategic stability" founded on fairness and reciprocity.
The announcement also indicated that President Trump will welcome President Xi in Washington later this year, as both nations will back one another as hosts of the G20 and APEC summits planned for later in 2026.
