Xpressbees Elects Ex Blinkit Executive as B2C Vertical CEO

XpressBees, a logistics and supply chain company specializing in e-commerce, has revealed that Mohit Sardana will be taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer for their B2C division.

In his new position, Sardana will oversee the company's complete business-to-consumer operations, concentrating on developing scalable delivery systems and improving customer satisfaction in a rapidly growing e-commerce sector.

Sardana possesses more than twenty years of leadership expertise in business strategy, operations, and digital transformation. Previously, he worked as COO for Zomato's food delivery division and was a member of the executive team at Blinkit Commerce. He has additionally occupied senior positions at MakeMyTrip and Accenture, where he played a crucial role in promoting growth and operational efficiency.

In welcoming him to the executive team, Amitava Saha, MD & CEO of XpressBees, stated that Sardana's proficiency in expanding consumer businesses and spearheading digital-first transformation will be essential for reinforcing the company's B2C operations.

Established in 2015, XpressBees offers comprehensive logistics services covering e-commerce, B2B, 3PL, and international logistics. The company is supported by investors such as Blackstone, TPG, and Alibaba.

In July 2023, XpressBees acquired courier company Trackon and appointed Uday R. Sharma as CBO for B2B, 3PL and international operations.

Based on data from startup intelligence platform TheKredible, XpressBees has secured total funding of $625 million to date, with Norwest Venture Partners and Alibaba Group serving as its primary investors.

Previously, Xpressbees named Tarun Agarwal to the position of Vice President – B2C First Mile, beginning in June 2025.

 

Bringing more than three decades of experience in operations and logistics, Agarwal will concentrate on strengthening the organization's first-mile operations as B2C sector demand continues to rise.

Agarwal comes from Ecom Express, where he held the position of Vice President – Operations. During his time there, he was responsible for creating marketplace collection systems, managing large-scale first-mile logistics operations, and establishing nationwide sorting infrastructure.

His previous executive positions encompass leadership roles at Aramex India, Delhivery, Snapdeal, and an extensive period with Blue Dart Express, where he managed operations throughout Northern India.

Rahul Agarwal, Chief Operating Officer at Xpressbees, expressed enthusiasm about the hiring, highlighting Tarun's practical experience and operational expertise as essential elements for the company's expansion objectives.
