ZeptoZepto Co-Founder and CEO Aadit Palicha announced ambitious plans to transform the quick commerce platform into a $50 billion enterprise. As Blinkit’s competitor, Zepto has recently secured $665 million in a heavily oversubscribed funding round, boosting its valuation to $3.6 billion. This surge follows a previous raise of $235 million just nine months earlier, which had valued the company at $1.4 billion.

Reflecting on their rapid ascent, Palicha highlighted Zepto’s unique journey from inception to prominence within three years, emphasizing that such rapid growth is particularly feasible in India. "Reflecting on the past 3 years of building Zepto: the story of 2 kids dropping out of college and starting a company that is worth 30,000 crore in just 3 years is only possible in one country in 2024: India", Palicha shared on social media platform X.

He further expressed the company’s commitment to scaling Zepto into a world-class $50 billion entity, with a vision to provide employment for hundreds of thousands of people. This growth trajectory aims to contribute significantly to India’s economy.

Founded in 2021 by Stanford University dropouts, Aadit Palicha and Kaivalya Vohra, Zepto has swiftly emerged as one of India’s fastest-growing internet companies. Based in Mumbai, the platform offers over 10,000 products across various categories, delivered within 10 minutes.
