    Comprising of 27 markets, the European Union operates as a single market allowing the free movement of goods, capital, services and people between member states.  In terms of economic growth, the European Union has grown in significant figures and at the fastest pace over the decade, excluding the recent COVID times. However, adding to it the present Ukraine's war is hitting hard the European economy. However, with globalization and stronger competition from emerging countries, Europe has been relying on its industrial base rather services and banking sector alone. Also, research and innovation play a key role in developing the technologies and approaches to ensure Europe's manufacturing future.

    Furthermore, moving towards a more multipolar world, rather a multiway competition or a competition between alliances, the European Union's fastest-growing economy in 2021 was Ireland, with the country's gross domestic product growing by 13.5 percent that year, according to the most recent forecast in 2022. Croatia's economy was expected to have grown by 10.2 percent, with the economy of Malta growing the third-fastest at 9.4 percent. However, the trends in business suggests a general behavior among companies, and the growth is expected to be slow but gradual facing inflation in prices of food and energy sources.

    In 2021, while the European Union forecasted to have approximately 22.65 million enterprises operating in the non-financial business economy, compared with 22.56 in 2020, today there are 20 biggest companies in Europe, where revenues and profits are surging. Also, while most Indian IT companies have moved their limited operations out of Russia in response to its invasion of Ukraine, they continue to expand in other Eastern European countries, undeterred by the uncertainties and analysts warning of slowdown in business momentum there. Moreover, the Indian leaders present in Europe are also playing a greater role in adding up to and elevating the organizational value of a company leveraging their adept business and tech skills across industries. Our country can be counted on for extensive contribution to strengthening this relation and conjoined growth in the near future.
