BHIM Payments App Names Mahendra Singh Dhoni as Brand Ambassador

NPCI BHIM Services Limited has revealed that Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the esteemed former captain of the Indian cricket team who led the team to victory in the World Cup, has been appointed as the Brand Ambassador for the BHIM Payments App.

This decision signifies a strategic advancement in the platform's future trajectory, with a strong emphasis on expansion, inclusivity, and fostering lasting trust among users.

The collaboration unites two establishments recognized for their trustworthiness, dependability, and constancy.

The BHIM Payments App has been instrumental in facilitating the growth of India's digital payments industry, while Dhoni's renowned cool-headedness and reliability enhance the brand's presence among varied consumer demographics.

Sharing his perspective, Mahendra Singh Dhoni says, “Over the years, I have always believed in keeping things simple and staying clear in approach”.

After being rebranded as the 'Bharat Ka Apna Payments App', the BHIM Payments App has extended its presence in Tier 1, 2, and 3 markets. Emphasizing accessibility and inclusivity, the platform now caters to over 15 regional languages and enhances performance in areas with poor connectivity to encourage usage in rural and semi-urban areas.
