During his most recent tenure, he assumed the role of Business Head for Sony Entertainment Television (SET) upon joining SPNI a decade ago. He later took charge of Studio NXT and, most recently, Sony LIV in 2019.

Over the course of the last five years, Khan has overseen a thorough overhaul of Sony LIV as its leader, resulting in the successful relaunch of Sony LIV 2.0 and a substantial expansion of the digital business.

In his role, Khan has propelled Sony LIV to achieve a considerable increase in revenue, surpassing five-fold growth, and a four-fold increase in monthly active users. These achievements have made Sony LIV a major contributor to nearly a quarter of SPNI’s total revenue.

Despite these successes, Khan has also maintained a strong emphasis on profitability, as emphasized by the company's official statement.
