Reliance Retail has brought on board Guillaume de Colonges, a former Carrefour executive, to manage its grocery business. This decision indicates that he may be in line to replace Damodar Mall, who is currently the CEO of the company's grocery retail division.

The retail division of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) is getting ready for a potential initial public offering, expected to take place in 2027 or 2028. The current valuation of the retail business is estimated to be approximately $100 billion, as stated in a report by Axis Securities on October 13.
