Quick commerce has transformed convenience at home. YatriKart is betting on the next big retail opportunity: serving millions of Indians who are constantly on the move.
YatriKart has announced a ₹120 crore strategic partnership with MMG Group to establish 1,000 Quick Stop stores across India over the next five years.
Under the Franchise Invested, Company Operated (FICO) model, MMG Group will fund store infrastructure and capital expenditure (CAPEX), while YatriKart will manage operating expenditure (OPEX), technology, supply chain, staffing and day-to-day operations.

The partnership marks a significant expansion of the relationship between YatriKart and MMG Group. Having first backed YatriKart through a strategic equity investment in 2024, MMG Group is now deepening its commitment by supporting the company’s nationwide retail expansion through a ₹120 crore FICO partnership. The move reflects a shared long-term vision to build a scalable, technology-enabled convenience retail network across India.
The partnership combines MMG Group’s capital support with YatriKart’s experience in building and operating convenience retail across diverse locations.
As part of the partnership, YatriKart has already begun deploying Quick Stop stores across Delhi NCR, with the first phase targeting 100 stores. This initial rollout marks the beginning of the planned 1,000-store expansion over five years, with a focus on high-footfall locations such as fuel stations, highways and bus stands & other transit hubs before expanding into other markets across India.
With 80+ stores across eight cities, YatriKart is building its network at petrol pumps, highways, hospitals, corporate parks, bus stands and transit hubs. Its compact stores offer coffee, food, beverages and everyday essentials, making it easier for consumers to pick up what they need along the routes they already take.
YatriKart calls this proposition “Retail on the Go”: organised convenience retail designed around people’s everyday movement.

YatriKart is also set to launch its consumer app, allowing customers to discover stores along their routes, order ahead and receive products directly from their vehicles at participating fuel stations and other designated locations, making convenience truly on the go.
Gaurav Rana, Founder & CEO, YatriKart, said: “Quick commerce has transformed convenience at home. We believe there is a significant opportunity to make everyday essentials just as accessible outside the home”.
Whether someone is commuting to work, refuelling, travelling or visiting a hospital, the need is often simple: a coffee, something to eat, a bottle of water or an essential they have forgotten. Our aim is to make YatriKart the familiar quick stop for these everyday moments.
This partnership is an important step towards building that network nationwide. Our focus is on making each store dependable for the customer and building an operating model that can scale through technology, a strong supply chain and consistent execution.”
Anant Agarwal, Promoter, MMG Group: “Quick commerce has transformed convenience at home. We believe the next big retail opportunity lies outside the home, serving millions of consumers who are constantly on the move”.
Our confidence in YatriKart comes from its five years of experience on the ground. The team has worked across Indian Railways, Delhi Metro, hotels, hospitals and temples, and built a partner network of around 500 stores. That journey has given it valuable experience in distribution, supply chain and customer needs across different locations.
Through multiple pivots, YatriKart has refined its model, made difficult decisions to discontinue initiatives that did not work, and focused on the formats with stronger potential to scale. Along the way, it has built its technology backbone and established corporate partnerships that provide a potential location pool of around 60,000 sites.
We are backing both the market opportunity and a team that has learned, adapted and built the foundations for growth. That combination of experience, technology and access to locations is what gives us conviction in YatriKart’s ability to build a nationwide convenience retail network.”
The planned 1,000-store rollout with MMG Group marks a milestone in YatriKart’s broader ambition to establish 5,000 Quick Stop stores across India over the next five years.
As it expands, YatriKart aims to make “Your Quick Stop” a familiar presence across the places where people travel, work and spend their day.
