S Jaishankar also grained gratitude to the QCCI and QBA (Qatari Businessmen Association) Chairpersons Sheikh Khalifa and Sheikh Faisal and emphasized the historical connections between India and Qatar, when Gujarat maintained the ever-important door for commerce and contacts. During that time, the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani communicated over telephone thrice for increasing the highlights on the important business factors.
